Since 1995, the Gresham-Barlow Education Foundation has given $43,198 to Kelly Creek Elementary. The majority of funds received were for Innovation Grants that directly enhance classroom instruction.The Cougars also received significant funding for literacy support, including the recent creation of a web-enabled eLibrary.

If you visit the 1st grade pod at Kelly Creek, you will notice students using iPads and Chromebooks during the school day.  If you look closely, you may notice them taking 3D virtual field trips to places like the Great Barrier Sea, the Himalayan Mountains or the Serengeti.  Thanks to a grant from the GBEF, the entire school is enjoying a subscription to Nearpod, an amazing platform that allows teachers to engage students with high quality lessons that students can really get into!

With these funds, the GBEF paid for literacy enhancements in addition to enriching classrooms with a focus on directly and positively impacting student learning.
