Since 1995, the Gresham-Barlow Education Foundation has given $46,600 to East Orient Elementary and East Orient Middle School prior to the construction of West Orient Middle School. The majority of funds received were for Innovation Grants that directly enhance classroom instruction. The Eagles also received significant funding for literacy support, including the recent creation of a web-enabled eLibrary.

Mr. Hyman has been waiting a long time to create a classroom where every student has a Chromebook – and thanks the GBEF, he’s done it!  The GBEF provided funding for 10 new Chromebooks that will allow every student the opportunity to learn and explore using technology under the guidance of a great teacher.

With these funds, the GBEF paid for literacy enhancements in addition to enriching classrooms with a focus on directly and positively impacting student learning.
